If a woman carries a baby to full term the process takes 40 weeks. For Tabernacle Seventh-day Adventist Church, our first trimester will take that long. On Aug. 27, 2007, our reconstruction has officially begun. With faith in our father, and an assist from Dozier and Dozier, the second and third floors have been closed off, walls have been knocked down and construction crews have begun the process of making Tabernacle a place where loveliness keeps house.

During the process, there will be some changes to our services. Sabbath School will last from 9 to 10:15 a.m., and Divine Hour will last from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. As with any birth, there will be growing pains, and this will be no exception. Let us remember what Jesus told each of us. If we love our neighbors as ourselves, the process will be as comfortable as possible for everyone.
