Projection Ministry

Tabernacle Communications Department writer Kesan Nedd sat down with Projection Technology Department head Daniel Ghansah recently to discuss the impact of the department on the church.

Kesan: What is the purpose of the projection Technology Department?

Ghansah: This department is a subset of the media ministry here at Tabernacle. The purpose of this department is to help people with all forms of learning styles to be able to interact and participate in the activities of the church.

Kesan: Who are the people that are involved in this ministry?

Ghansah: We have a large staff that varies in age and technical backgrounds. They include Allen Holder, Reuben McPhee, Meaghan McPhee, Wesley Flerido, Ovita Gayle, Adrian Carrington, Wilkey Philossaint, Danielle St. Hilaire, Gary Midas and Jason Smith. These people are not just limited to the projection technology ministry, but they partake in other faculties of technology around the church.

Kesan: Is the Projection Technology Department looking for extra individuals to help with this ministry?

Ghansah: Of course we are always looking for help, and your age or technical background has no factor in whether you can help. If you are interested please contact me, or any of the other associates who were listed before.

Kesan: What are some of the additions and advancements that have been made in the church's technology?

Ghansah: The church's website is continually growing and continues to amaze our members and other people who visit the site. You can visit the site at www.tabsda.org, and be prepared to be impressed.

Kesan: How do you think this department fits into helping Tabernacle achieve its goal: ministering is a way of life?

Ghansah: This ministry is developing methods to reach many people in an evolving world, and in the process it is bridging gaps between our older members and the youth.

Kesan: What new things should the Tabernacle members look for in the future from the Projection Technology department?

Ghansah: Tabernacle may see email boxes that will be exclusive at first, and by God's grace will eventually be available to the community. We are also looking into instant messaging, which will provide a safe and simple way of communication among the members of Tab.
